Zygology Ltd - Terms & Conditions of Supply (2026)

Applies to all online and offline orders placed with Zygology Ltd.

1. Who We Are
Zygology Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) supplies fastening products, tools and related goods to businesses and consumers in the UK and internationally.

2. When These Terms Apply
These terms apply to all purchases made:
  • through our website (zygology.com)
  • by email or phone
  • via purchase order
By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
If you are a consumer, your statutory rights under UK law always apply.

3. Ordering & Contract Formation
  • Your order is an offer to buy.
  • A contract is formed only when we send an Order Confirmation or Dispatch Confirmation.
  • We may refuse an order if products are unavailable, incorrectly priced, or if we cannot verify payment.
  • Any typographical, clerical, or other accidental errors or omissions in any sales literature, quotation, price list, acceptance of offer, invoice, or other document or information issued by the company shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of the company.
4. Product Information
We aim to keep all product descriptions accurate. However:
  • images are for illustration
  • specifications may change
  • suitability for your application is your responsibility unless we confirm otherwise in writing
5. Prices
  • Prices shown online exclude VAT unless stated.
  • Delivery charges are shown at checkout.
  • We may update prices at any time before your order is accepted.
  • For business customers, prices may change if material or import costs increase.
6. Payment
Website orders
Payment is taken at checkout using secure, SCA‑compliant methods.
Business customers with credit accounts
Payment is due end of month following invoice.
Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act.

7. Delivery
  • Delivery dates are estimates.
  • Any fault in, shortage, or failure to correspond to specification of the goods shall be notified to the company within 5 days of customer receipt.
  • Risk passes to you on delivery.
  • Title passes only when payment is received in full.
  • We may deliver items in instalments.
If delivery fails due to incorrect information or missed receipt, redelivery charges may apply.

8. Returns & Cancellations
Consumers (online orders)
You have a 14‑day cancellation period from the day you receive your goods.
You cannot return:
  • custom or made‑to‑order items
  • sealed items once opened (e.g., adhesives, chemicals)
Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving returned goods.
Business customers
Returns require prior authorisation. Restocking fees may apply. Custom or modified goods are non‑returnable unless faulty.

9. Warranty
  • Standard warranty: 6 months for tools and spares.
  • Manufacturer warranties apply where provided.
  • Warranty excludes misuse, incorrect installation, modification, or fair wear and tear.
10. Liability
We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
For business customers
We are not liable for:
  • loss of profit
  • business interruption
  • indirect or consequential loss
Our total liability is limited to the value of the order.
For consumers
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

11. Intellectual Property
All product data, drawings, images and technical content remain the property of Zygology Ltd or our suppliers. You may not copy or reproduce them without permission.

12. Export Orders
  • Incoterms 2020 apply.
  • You are responsible for customs clearance, duties and compliance with local regulations.
13. Data Protection (UK GDPR)
We process personal data in line with UK GDPR. We use your data to:
  • process orders
  • provide customer support
  • meet legal obligations
  • send marketing (only if you opt in)

14. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, including supply chain disruption, transport issues, strikes, or government restrictions.

15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by English law. Disputes will be handled by the English courts.
